Lol I'd commit suicide if I only made 270-280whp with all those mods. On a 3.4 gen 3 with rockers and headers I made 248whp STD.

This makes me feel mildly better
Re: Guess how much power I will make with GPF math
If I had to honestly guess, you're close to 300whp STD. My first thought was 310whp due to the other mods, but I'll say 300whp to be conservative.

Yes because my Torque Converter being **** was skewing the results. Especially proven by Anmar putting down 280WHP on the dyno and I beat him with Traction control on by more than a 4whp lead. Soon ill take it back to get the "real" number.

Well, hurry up and get this sh1t going.
I want real numbers, now.

Lol well the torque converter is in now (and working a crapload better). But ZZP was out of stock on SSC springs so currently its still on very broken struts, a broken fuel pump, and out of alignment. IN THEORY next friday the agxs, ssc springs, and fuel pump w/ street tune adjustments will be done. Then I can start looking into getting it on the dyno just for the number.
I mean Zach Brunsink had the same issue I did. On his blower build he had the same torque converter I did basically and had the same depressing dyno number. Switched it out for the one I just did and "picked up" 50whp on the dyno.
It flows great and is a great engine. I honestly think its probably closer to 310-320WHP.
Anyway not trying to derail this thread. I think this setup in question here should be able to hit 300WHP or close to it.
Re: Guess how much power I will make with GPF math
Well I should have my shortblock back may 6th-10th and I need to leave for ocean city may 16th
If I get it may 10th it will be a 48hr redbull fueled reassembly. I then plan to drive it to Washington DC from Delaware and back which is about 400 miles then to NJ to the tuner 500ish miles there
Have them change the oil there then put the car on the dyno for a tune and hope it doesn't blow up. Once all this is done I will report back with numbers..
Powerhaus Performance "the heartbreaker".. lol The tuner here left Race Proven Motorsports (RPM) to open his own place.

Re: Guess how much power I will make with GPF math
seems like a lot of driving with out a tune. NJ first would be my choice.
Re: Guess how much power I will make with GPF math
its tuned now for less timing, and the new injectors so I can drive it safely. I don't want to beat on it or the new trans before I am done breaking it in.
Re: Guess how much power I will make with GPF math
trannys are like a rebuilt motor, its go or blow, theres no more break in times for the cam either, as they all got roller lifters now.
only thing you should do is the oil change 300 to 500 miles later.
its been said beating on the new engine right out of the box helps seat the rings too.

Interesting... Well this is good information and takes a **** ton of stress off of me.

How much power with GPF math?
7000hp broooooo
z06 by a bus, vids to come
Re: Guess how much power I will make with GPF math
I've seen and heard of people making 270-280ish whp with rockers. Cant see why you wouldn't touch 300whp with a cam.

yeah, you can baby it, but in the end it wont matter, if its gonna blow up, it will blow up being babied as well. tune = hammer time tho.
back in the day, a rebuilt engine got 30 minutes at 3,000 rpm, to break in the cam, then it was ready to be flogged, now a days thats not needed at all. tune it, and beat it.

I was simply making a point as to what numbers he could see... BTW don't forget the fact your rolling 3.29s and Anmar only has 2.93s. I am interested to see the numbers after on converter and fuel pump.

Re: Guess how much power I will make with GPF math
I wish I could do e85. I know of one pump in the entire state of Delaware.
Re: Guess how much power I will make with GPF math
You should easily make at least 300whp. If not it will be a bit higher.
