I could only find 2 threads on the Chrome Intakes and I'm trying to find out if they are anygood or not a because if so, I am probably going to buy one tonight. I know that I can make my own no problem but this cheaper and would take a lot less time due to it being already made up. Just trying to do cheap stuff righ now that I can afford.

    Thanks

So is it worth it or is the homemade better with the pvc and spectre filter?

Ok, I may try and go to autozone tonight and get the filter since I need fresh touch-up paint anyways. May already have the pipe laying around home.

    AEM filter > everything else.

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/AEM-9-X4-CON...ht_6054wt_1108

You can't beat that price for how good of the filter it is.

Buy it and build the rest of the intake for 7 bucks at lowes/home depot.

Made an autozone/lowes run and picked up some goodies and ordered that aem filter since autozone wanted $40 for a spectre!

Will a 4in pipe work? That's what I bought on accident.

Unless you bought a 4in to 3in reducer for the throttle body coupler, then no it wont work.

I would take it back and just get a black pvc 3in 45ยบ bend pipe.

The 3in one you bought, just swap the 4in pipe for a 3in with the same exact end.

See how it fits together with the smaller end of the pvc going into the 3in coupler and big end of pcv fitting perfect for the filter.

They want $21.50 to ship this to me in Canada.
