The seat tilts and everything else but will not slide up or down closer to the pedals. Its always back. And I can barely hit the pedals. Can I manually override this

check your SEAT fuse in the panel in the glove box. yes you can put a non powered seat in the car easily tricky to find. unsure if passenger will fit ...

Hold up. If the other parts of the seat work, then the seat has power. No need to check a fuse you know is supplying the other functions.

Tilt the front of the seat all the way up and look underneath. I think there's three motors, one for tilt front, one tilt rear and one front/back. Determine which is the front/back and check that it's plugged in. Sometimes stuff under the seat can disconnect these things.

If that doesn't work. Now that you know which one it is.. unhook the drive cable from the motor end. You can now use a drill to spin the piece inside the cable to move the seat forward (which likely you need to do in order to remove the seat anyhow.). Then either grab a new motor from a scrap yard or whatever works.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
