hey just need to verify what is wrong weither its the motor or bad switch or the regulator. I have my car turned off and I hit the down button and I hear a click and i siee the lights dim a little. But when I hit the UP switch theres no click and no dimming of the lights. This sounds like a bad switch?if so, how I do i get the window up just one time thats all i care about.

Could pull the door panel and reverse the 2 wires at the motor. This will cause it to go up when you press down on the switch.

If you pop the switch out of the panel you could carefully trace which wires work the motor and safely hook 12v up to the wires in the right direction. I did this to my new door when replacing a window while it was off the car. The colors of the wires that powered the motor were blue and brown for my drivers side rear door.

Use a fuse protected 12v cigarette lighter cord. Most are fuse protected anyway. I just took one that went into a car TV or something, and cut the end off.

There is no automatic stop on the windows, if it's all the way up, you can still power the motor and it will keep trying to go up. Something must be blocking it.
