Honestly I dont know if anyone cares or not but I went to the junkyard by my house and found a Special Edition Grandprix that has caught on fire. I pulled the DIC the roof rails, The door badges and the entire deck lid. So im assuming this guy is gonna charge me like $200 bucks for everything since he probably knows Special edition stuff is hard to come by.Well he gives me a grand total of $40 for EVERYTHING. I couldnt believe it and he gave me a funny look when I left the salvage yard with a huge grin on my face. Yep thats pretty much it haha. Its gonna be a good weekend

Lucky you, I've seen one SE car in my neighborhood, driven by a woman. I'm lurking the junkyard, waiting for her to wreck it.

Wow. That's beyond a steal even if those parts were regular ones, let alone Special Edition pieces. However, most junkyards don't know WTH a Special Edition is, or that parts are worth money off them. I found a set of roof rails in the trunk of a Monte Carlo in the yard a couple years back. Guy just looked at them like "WTH does he want with those?" I forgot what all I bought that day, or what the total was, but I do remember after subtracting what they charge for the other stuff, the rails came out to $10 - $15. Sold them for $250 shipped.

There are so many variations of so many different cars throughout the years that unless you're an enthusiast, you wouldn't know what's worth what. I'm sure you've passed by many cars in the junkyard that you didn't know were a gold mine because you're not into that particular car so you didn't know something was worth money on it.

I need to go back to our U Pull It and see if they still have that 40th in there. The last time I was out there it had a sign in the windshield saying not for parts.......

That's when you pull parts anyway, and say "no habla Ingles".
