It's not really worth putting a higher octane in a engine the cant utilize the higher octane. You may notice a small gain or you may not. It will however decrease your gas mileage.
I would say don't waste your money, it's not really worth it.
Every gas station ive been too in jersey it's all 10% ethanol, no matter the octane rating.
Shell v power is 93, IIRC
I'd just stick to 87, unless the uncommon chance that you find pure gasoline for a specific octane rating at the pump.
