lol well im a bicycle mechanic and avid mountain rider so i think it will get used. besides that if you saw how much i have already used it just from the wear on it there wouldnt be a question . Thats a great point though .

I really want to get one to haul the scooter I built around and my snowboard haha. Wheres the best place to pick one up at? And you were saying somehting about needing certain clips? Im guessing when I buy one it will be specific for my car so I will get the correct clips?

you need a set of q towers , 48 inch cross bars, q80 clips and a tray . there are a lot of trays out there like the boa which is the cheapest and so on , pick the one that works best for what is going to be on your rack. your best bet is to get a whole used set up for cheap on craigslist and then just switch the clips.

i know you dont want to hear this but just like anything else you get what you pay for and that is very cheap and universal usually means poor fit . I dont know about you but when i have my bike mounted to my car i dont want it going anywhere , i have way to much money wrapped up in it. Spend a little extra and get something like this........Yakima Towers (4), Crossbars (2) and Fairing
