Hello everyone, I'm new to the world of Pontiac, I recently purchased a 2005 Grand Prix (base model) with 145xxx miles. Its a great car with the exception that I can't seem to get the heater going, I replaced the blower motor and resistor with a new one and... Nothing! If anyone can point me in the right direction with this problem I would really appreciate it. Nelson. :-)

Check the plug that concerns to the blow motor resistor to see if it has power going to it

Does power come out of the resistor? If so there's a problem somewhere between there and the wires going to the blower motor.

You might want to get a garage to install a capacitor to absorb the voltage spike from the wiper motor. There's a safety bulletin about that.....
