The coupons for Advance are always online only, but a lot of times you can do in store pick up. My guess is that the Scan Gauge isn't kept in the stores because people aren't buying them all that often, so they just ship from the warehouse.

Well considering its pulling straight from the pcm it cant really do anything but be identical to what the pcm reads. It updates fast once you tweak some settings and reads everything I want. Screen is bright and completely adjustable. I have it right on my steering colum.

Looking forward to tracking all the stuff on my hybrid. And I need a code clearer since my previous device's screen has stopped working.

Iv got hptuners, a scantool.net scanxl with the gm enhanced package, A gensys, A bluetooth one with torque app, and now this scanguage.... main reason I got mine was because it got old always having a laptop chilling in the passenger seat.... One might say I have a few options.

20$ ebay scantool has absolutely no chance of scanning anything useful other then codes

I like hptuners by far for scanning. Love torque for quick little code reads on friends cars. Use the gensys for clearing codes in my garage because its small and all in one.

I called AAP because I noticed I still hadn't received my $50 voucher in my emails. They said that using both codes was invalid and only one can be used. Anyone else run into this problem?

Saved me the trouble of emailing them Would have rather stuck with the 15% off + $50 off $100 coupon. If they weren't stackable, they shouldn't have allowed us to add them. I know other codes if you try using two it will tell you to pick one.

I should be happy that I could use something that they want me to use? Really? I can understand them refusing to honor stacking, but I've never had them honor coupons in general. I've even had a store honor a coupon value after I had to return an online order that was defective.

With coupon codes, I've done almost all of my automotive purchases from AAP. I'll use the $10 off $30, $20 of $50, etc. codes all the time. I'll be placing another order in a few days for my new truck, but I have to come up with $75 worth of stuff after coupon since I have to get some items shipped. They aren't kept in stock at the stores and the online inventory always says "call store."

So you wouldn't be upset if you put in two coupons, but the latter didn't work and you're out/unable to take advantage of $50 for a future purchase? Right. If advance didn't give me even one coupon in the first place, I would have went somewhere else or go to another website for the product. So yes it's good I was able to use a coupon from advance, but in the long run it wouldn't have mattered either way as I would have went somewhere else.

At the same time they really don't have to offer coupons to use but its something they do. I think personally its to compete with rockauto prices..usually everything comes out to what RA offer it for if you use a code. Personally I don't like to wait and pay for shipping so 99% of just get from advance.

Retailmenot.com is your best friend. No need to wait and use those $5 off coupon they tend to send in the mail often.

I just bought around $160 worth of stuff for around $100 or so and walked across the street and picked it up. Sometimes I split up the orders to save more just depends on what kind of codes are valid at the time.
