Good deal then. This would be close to beating my G8 in a 1/4 mile if I didn't spray that.

Yeah I was gonna beef up the transmission before I started all this. What do you mean a 3.25 vs cammed gtp? That's all gonna be on one car. Not vs anyone.

I think he thinks you are going to run a 3.25 pulley.

Well I'm gonna run a 3.4 as per the advice of you fine members. Haven't researched the newer supercharger so until I decide on that I'll stick with the 3.4 for now. 3.4 pulley and the VS cam.

Yeah I'll start with a 3.4 and if I don't meet my goals then I'll consider dropping down.

3.4 pulley with a VS cam wont break the 13's. nor will it break 300 whp IMO.
The VS cam is a tiny cam. you want power. get the XP cam. look up what others have done for their XP cam installs to see what you need.
XP cam+3.3 pulley with gen V MIGHT break you 300 whp.

consider weight reduction. i read you mentioned cost and you wanted it to be pretty cheap. guy one here ran a 12.7 with rocker setup on a 3.4 pulley with weight reduction.
if you have all the money in the world, get some ported heads. the heads on our cars are extremely restrictive.

or you can skip all of this and go turdblow.

    ^^This

What you have planned will net you about mid 13's at best, unless you have an awesome DA. You will also be no where near 300whp.

Toss an IC on as well, and you will be at about 300whp, and should have a 12 second car.

Just to makes sure, if you haven't seen this read it. Might shed some light on the best way to mod the cars.
    http://www.grandprixforums.net/safel...0-a-67580.html

I agree with both above^^^. You will hit 13s but not sub without spray or bigger mods. Probably only his about 250whp too, alot of torque, but not much on the whp increase with what you looking at. Its a mild build, stronger than stock, but nothing spectacular.

A Intercooler would go along way with these mods and definitely put you sub 13s/ high 12s. While pricey its the best mod you could ask for, search the fore sale threads, I recall one for sale around 600-750 (could be gone by now, but worth a check). I have seen stock motors use an intake, headers, 3.0 and a solid fullstack intercooler system and run low 13s with DRs at a track. Its pricey but very much worth it considering the gains that can be had.

You wont get 300whp with that setup nor get into low 13's.

The VS cam isnt a bad cam, decent power with great drive-ability but you could go bigger with the XP or s1x and snag up even more HP with that, but you lose some drive-ability. More wear on the Valvetrain parts. But many people DD the XP/s1x, up to you.

You can continue to browse this forum for Stage 2 IC to show up also. Much cheaper than buying new, and will help a lot unless you want to run E85.

Plus im also going to chime in on this, Make your intake (Like in my Sig) and consider a Gen V swap. Its not that difficult to do.

My cam is similar to a VS. I ran 13.33@104 with the cam, SD headers, DHP self tune with 18* timing, 3.4 pulley, intake etc. That was with cables and drag radials though. No cables or slicks it was running around 13.60. On the same build but with E85, 21*, 3.29 gears and a 3.1 pulley it ran 12.84@108. Never been dynoed though

Not going turbo. I bought the car cause I wanted a supercharged car. I'll look into the newer turbo swap. And if I'm not at my goals with this setup I'll consider that $1000 intercooler.
