charge saver active and reduced engine power lights were on boost didnt help i put new battery in reduced engine power still on. car turns over starts idles funny then stalls if hit gas while idling nothing happens at all is only 36000 k on it???

take the car to a parts store and have it scanned. im sure there will be a code to point you in the right direction.
you can also with the car off un plug the maf, then start it, if it runs better, the maf is bad.

i bet you get a code for pedal postition/throttle position sensor lol This seems to be a common thing in my neck of the woods lalley. Ive replace a throttle body on a newer impala and a pedal out of a monte.

ty for answers both Someone who was walking by told me that if battery disconnected for few hrs (which it was took a few just to undo everything ,electrical box and washer bottle included lol, just to get battery out) that it loses sync with car and to just keep starting it every 15 min or so. which i did and 3 hrs later it started fine been running fine with no warning lights lol but new prob 2 days after which i going to be posted @#$%

taking the battery off fixes nothing. it re sets the pcm. with in a few days time the pcm will see a fault and set the check engine light again.
once the light comes back on, go get it scanned and fix whats wrong. your car will thank you.

i have an 06 gp i changed the battery 2 days ago lost sync to engine i kept trying to start it every 15 which was told to do, and that worked has been running great till tonight tonight my steering locked car stalled while driving (no warning lights on) would start up again go for a while then same thing started went further made it home but yellow engine light came on on the way ANY IDEAS please (i know little about cars) tyvm for any help you cane give me

The engine light means the car is saying something, likely a sensor has failed and is causing a problem.
If you can, try and get the car scanned to see what the code is. The OBD 2 port is under the drivers side dash, and it should throw a P0XXX code number. That code number can be googled to tell you what may be wrong.
