It definitely is relative. Someone who drives a 90 hp pudmobile gets into a 140 hp turd and they will think its the fastest thing in the world.

I remember when I thought my Bonneville was fast. BAHAHAHA. Fast for me is 12's in the quarter. But then again, I'm used to my N/A snail mobile.

Man your so lucky. I want a 636 so bad. But cant afford one. I bought my lil ninja 250 for 400$ all it needed was a carburator, a hole in the gas tank fixed and the plastics repaired. Also dent in the tank poped out and new screws for plastics. Put about 400$ into it, 100$ of which was to the carburator. But here is start and finish.

Got it like this. The white thing on the gas tank is a golf thing. Idk what exactly its called the thing you stick into the ground that holds the ball. Well its a plug for my gas tank at the time, to get it moved to the garage. Pahahah

Finished product! Shaved the turn signals too!

Yeah I definitelly like acceleration more than top speed. Top speed is boring. Things just go by faster and you have a high chance of death but it feels pretty much the same. Getting planted in your seat by g forces of acceleration is way more exciting. I learned a hard lesson when I was a kid about racing and doing stupid **** on the street though, and you'll probably end up learning it too if you keep trying to go 160MPH, or you wont get the chance to. Keep it on the track or at least somewhere where no one else will be anywhere near.

But yeah as far as fast cars go I would say anything 12s or better is fast. low 13s is decently quick. 14s+ is meh.

I'm 17, but I've been around cars my entire life. I've seen, sat in, and been around 150 HP cars and 2500+ HP cars. People at the track don't really look at how fast your going, because you're 1/4 mile time is much more important. "Fast" is more of an opinionated thing.

I would agree with most people, 12's are fast, 13's are quick. I've done 180mph in a 2009 corvette. It was in the middle of the night on a empty highway, which is why I went for it.

I did a 160 on a '07 zzr 600 and 155 in a brand new 07 corevette. It had like 200 miles on it i worked in a dealership as a mechanic. and the vettes plugs would fall out from bein moved in and out of the shop. My manager told me to take it out and get on it to clean it out so the next morning pulling it out it was sputtering so i got on it. I said to myself F it lets see what it will do. Got up to 155 and someone pulled out in front of me. I slammed on the brakes and it stopped on a dime. It was amazing how good the brakes where. Thank god i thought i was dead. I was 19 and incredibly stupid. It took a lot more stupid mistakes to learn my lesson but lesson learned dont try and top your car out its pointless. If you keep doin it you will F up one day. Just see how fast you can get up to speed nothing else matters and anybody can top out a car just put your pedal to yhe floor.
