I might be picking up a 00 olds silhouette tom with a bad trans and was thinking since i have the parts in the garage an s1x cammed l67 minivan would be a lot of fun. Anyone know how hard the wiring would be? I have a harness from a 00 gtp I can use.

i don't remember how it hard it would be, but you let me know how it works out for you. We have a venture with 200K and around 100k on the 3.4. Thinking this would be a great idea once the engine decides to eat itself. Lots of pics. Too bad you don't have the cradle for the GTP, because I think it is a straight swap between the 2.

Pretty sure the Subframe from the van works fine.

you have to massage the firewall where the alternator area is and your better off using a different tb like a ls1 as you wont have to worry about interfearig with the brake master cylinder,

for an olds you will have to run a regal harness as they are more compatable with the interior harness, and you will have to shange only a few wires then.

tilton triple disc, custom aluminum flywheel, tilton slave and master, an awful lot more

Regal l36 or l67? Is it pretty much a plug in then?

I went and looked at it today and the pump seal is bad and pouring trans fluid everywhere so I might just throw a trans in it and drive it to make sure everything else works in it before I attempt the swap.

its pretty close to plug and play, just look at the large connector near the drivers strut tower and make sure you get the harnes that looks like the harness n your van as it sits ( there is either one o 2 wires ~8 gage in a single harness that goes to the inside, some have yellow, yellow black, red red, red black, red yellow ect, just make sure its the same as the van like i said
