I found this black 2door gp the othet day, the body is like mint condition. I think it was owned by an olxer couple. Only down fall is that it has 265k miles on it...would you buy it for a project car??? I plan on rebuilding most of the motor and replacing the trans in the project car anyway...so would the high miles keep u from buying iut?? They want 2,200 but im gonna offer 1,800

Depends on the body itself. Check the rockers, fuel door and struts for signs of rust and let that make your decision for you. As far as the engine and tranny is concerned I wouldn't pay more then $1500 for it with that kind of mileage even though your planning a rebuild. I guess $1800 would be ok but that would depend on how bad you want it. Good luck.

You should be able to snag a lower mileage one for around $1500. Asking price is way to high for that kind of mileage.

Yea i'd only give like a grand for it. I paid 500 for my 4 door with 265K..had new motor/trans,steering rack, hubs, brakes and some other crap. However it did need a hood and fender.

Agreed with ^^^ all of them. Price is way too high. Even if its a 1 owner GTP Couple in perfect condition just high miles its not going to be worth the 2k you'll spend on it. After all if it doesn't have problems, it will soon. You could easily spend another couple grand to fix problems within the next year or 2 and still have a 300,000mile car that isn't worth it.

    I'd walk
