So, after thinking really hard ive decided to go with Rockers instead of the VS cam. Theyre so picky here in CALI about the smog/emissions test and ill be damn if i get this work done and then they tell me they cant pass me. I figured rockers would be much easier to install and TUNE, and at the same time are inexpensive with the potential to gain a few WHPs(hopefully at least 15-20whp)

So any thought on the best Rockers i could run and anything needed with them(springs, retainers, or even valves)?

These Rockers wont be a CAM, but theyll give me a nice lil kicker in performance. A lil better airflow will be content enough for me.....
Not your average grocery getter, but theres always at least two things on the list.... 10w-30 Castrol Titanium and Shell 91 premium mixed with a lil 100 octane racing gas......

Not to be that guy, but all this info is on here.

Be it from what ratio you want and springs to run and seals and retainers.

Yeah, I figured it was.... I just wanted some info from someone who has ran them before. I've been reading up them, just wanted someones feedback on them with actual experience running them on their setup....

Cam is going to affect you getting smog'd?

I highly doubt that...that's all in the tune.

You can't even hear a VS cam so they won't even know.

As for the current mods...they are? What rockers are you looking at? What springs?

Yeah, I want to do the VS cam but I've been talking to a few performance shops and they think otherwise. Thought about doing it anyway but I don't wanna **** myself in the end if the dump shop can't get my tune right. I figured tuning some rockers wouldn't be as hard to do....

Plus, no one out here won't touch my tranny for nothing, the most they will do is a SHIFT kit for $700. I said **** that, for that amount of money I could do it myself, which I have but they don't know that. VS cam shouldnt harm my tranny that bad(if I drive right) but at the end of the day, living in CALI with their emissions law, rockers are probably the easiest to get away with.
