I have a 96 SE, 3.1 auto. I'm going to need a tranny rebuild soon and I figured why not just go manual. I read up a little and apparently it is possible, to fit up a getrag. Where can I find one, what do I need? Is it possible on a budget, any information would be greatly appreciated.

    You need alot.

I would set your budget high and hopefully you got fab skills.

    I would research more.

Not to sound lazy but a link or anything would be great, I've researched and come to nowhere but dead ends. I mean I know I'm going to need a flywheel, pressure plate/clutch, a shift linkage, and of course the transmission. But what else is there, this is where I draw blanks.

Ok now here comes my biggest question where can I get these parts or any parts for my car, because apparently my car does not exist in the aftermarket world.

I have a complete kit for sale. It has everything you need to do the swap, including the clutch, which is one of the most expensive parts of the swap ($1000-$1500).

Check the classifieds for my ad.

I'd love to talk to you about the kit, but I'm very far south and you're very far north.
