Hello everyone. I've got a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix with keyless entry issues. The battery is good, but the only button that works on the remote is the trunk button. What am I missing here? New battery didn't fix it. Any thoughts?

    Thanks!

the cover part where the buttons are wears out. sometimes you can open the case up, clean the contacts and it will work again. or order a new button pad, they run about 5 bucks new on ebay.

Thanks for the reply. I thought that could be it, but I thought the chances of all the buttons but just one failing at once was slim.

i had the same problem, it would un lock, but not lock. new button pad fixed it up.

theres also a how to repair the pad, all you do is glue some tin foil to the buttons, and it makes a better contact.

inside on the underside of the button is a pad it has metal paint on it, it either gets dirty or wears off.

Genius! Thank you! I took the button pad out and used foil tape and cut little pieces out and put them in there. Worked perfectly. Thanks again!

I had this same problem but found that if I hold the lock button for about 5 seconds, it locked. How do I take it off delayed lock? I have already set the DIC setting to "off".

    thanks!
