    Anybody know how much a series 2 cyl. head weighs. Trying to ship a set and calculate the cost but i don't have a scale and ups won't put it on their scale cuz it was too dirty lol...... (probably shoulda cleaned it)

    It's L67 if that makes a difference. Valves and springs but no rockers.

    I had already drove there and I don't wanna drive back. I should have thought of that before hand but oh well. I worked a 60 hour week I'm allowed to be slow today. lol

    A set of heads probably weighs at LEAST fifty pounds.

    I figured they weighed closer to 80+ but i'm a horrible guesser

    doesnt say how much they weigh but it says ups ground for one head is 40 bucks... but im not sure the distance theyre shipping it either

    Screw it im gonna go to walmart and buy a scale. I'll give it to my wife as a present since its our anniversary today. That will go over well. HAHA

    So I bought a scale they weighed out at about 37 lbs a piece.

    When I pack them and make my own box to the size needed with extra cardboard in to support things. They end up at 35lbs each. That's unbolt and put into a box. Rockers, valves and springs. No pushrods.
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    Mine weighed 37. Then again I only paid 7 dollars for the scale at walmart. Lol
