Gm half shafts are good, if they aren't having any problems them leave them. Hubs are a common issue with these cars yes, timken is the way to go

I've heard that timken has changed some stuff and personally I haven't seen good results with the timmies I used.

I would get the best warrantied bearing. Which is why I am currently running Moog ones. 3 year free replacement at my local Advance Auto. Plus..I paid about $65
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

my rule # 1 is, dont fix what aint broken. leave the axles till they start to fail one way or another. they cost 80- to a 100 each too.

We carry wheel bearings for the Pontiac Grand Prix. I replaced the front hubs on my Jeep last year with Timken bearings, and it drives nice and smooth with them. Here's a link to the bearings that we carry on our website. Grand Prix Bearings

I replaced my driver side front bearing last year with a duralast from autozone. Went out 5 months later. Chinese piece of crap. Replaced it with a timken and have had no problems.

thanks for info, love the rims on your whip!! I have been wanting a set of those since i bought mine. I am wanting a set just like it, best place to get them? And putting 18" rims on it will it b putting to much weight on, and cause wheel bearing problems again?
