not all GTP's come with HUD's i seen one with out it before it was pretty plain. cloth interior, no HUD, etc..
also top swap kits are pretty cheap, i had everything you needed for a top swap for sale for $350 besides the crank pulley.
but i do agree if your not handy with cars its easier to buy a GTP
plus having a 97 GT IIRC the trans is not an HD trans

yea, im stuck with the vacuum lined trans.
another reason why i wanted to pick up the 99 gtp.
but hey, its whatever. my time will come to own a gtp,
whether its a real gtp or top swapped/ motor swapped.

ill own a supercharged gp gah dammit. lol

haha, well i wonder if the jy i frequent will let me tear apart one of the gtp motors.
my friends mom works the desk so maybe.
what other cars have the supercharged 3.8?
and would those pcms work in mine?

and by chance can i get a list of what i would need to pull off to perform a top swap?

97 PCM will only work in a 97 anyway,

Buick regal GS has the s/c engine as well as the Bonneville SSEI

so does some Monte Carlo SS' and Impala SS' but there hard to come by

Heres a couple, I didnt know your price range so i kinda stuck around the 1900 or whatever L&M wanted. From what ive learned if you want to find the right car you gotta lucky sometimes. I wasnt even in the market for a GTP when I bought mine I just stumbled upon it in a dealer lot and a couple days ended up driving it off the lot.

1999 Grand Prix GTP Super Charged White 156,000 great condition fully loaded all
    1997 Pontiac GTP
    1998 pontiac gran prix gtp
    99 grand prix GTP supercharged
