Picked up a overall clean 99 gt last week. 2 door, black. Has a few issues. Needed to change out the front valve cover gasket, and the coolant elbows on the tensioner housing. Needs a new gasket where the front of the cat meets the pipe. Needed tires (got those) along with front rotors and tie rods. Last thing it needs is a windshield. Then its performance time Not bad for a $1800 car.

Sounds like a decent ride. Top swap or turbo?

Nope shes a bone stock n/a right now. Over winter time I plan on doing a little wrenching on it. Going to rebuild the tranny, (has no issues right now) then do a top swap, slp intake, slp power flo exhaust, a reprogrammed pcm from 3800performance.com and top it off with a 67mm turbo.

    Link in signature brutha.

Don't throw money down the drain on that SLP crap when you'll be getting rid of that intake...then you want to twin-charge it? Whole different category.

I read that when I first joined. I am really thinking about trying to make one of those home made intakes. Wouldnt that just be sucking hot air from the engine bay in? The turbo will be the last thing I do.
