I bought the car used and when i first got it, both the heads up display and dash light worked. Now all the other lights on the dash work, like the low fuel, turn signals, abs light, etc. Just at night the dash won't light up. Any idea what the problem could be? All the other interior lights work

Sounds stupid, but did you try adjusting the brightness of the lights? Might just be a dirty rheostat in the switch and found a dead spot. Try moving it back and forth a few times then turn it all the way up and see what you get.

Other than that have you checked the fuses? IIRC there is one for the IP.

Probably a under the hood fuse. Check your Radio fuse. Mines was blown and the HUD. I tossed a $300 radio, bought a new one. Found it was a fuse. Went back to the car wash and sold the radio lol.

May car did the same thing. It turned out to be that the headlight switch went bad. And my radio light would go out when the headlights kicked on..that was also fixed when we replaced the switch.
