    Hi guys new here and new owner of Grand Prix 1999. Paid 500
    for a GTP with a turbo and a bad trans. My question is I have been looking
    for a trans. Junk yards are a little high 75O. Do any of u know of
    some where cheaper. The other thing is how hard is it to rebuild.
    Auto Zone sells a kit for 200.

    Depend on how well you know auto trannies. With a turbo on it I would get a built trans, but that's just me. A stock trans will just die again. I'd get a tranny off of craigslist for way less than that, be gentle on it and save for a TEP tranny. See www.tripleedgeperformance.com for a great built trans (ha! I didn't f up the address this time)

    turbo or supercharged? i know you said turbo but for some reason i dont know people always mix them up, big difference between the 2 just sayin

    Car-part.com for all yards that list stuff. You can search a lot of different ways.

    For a how to rebuild: BonnevillePro.com has a how to in the mechanical section by Agrazela stickied. He went step by step through a rebuild.
