Well, so on saturday I was driving my car to cedar point on the freeway, 20 minutes in I smelled a odor and merged to the shoulder and seen smoke..Popped the hood and seen smoke everywhere. Checked under the car, seen some fluid and called AAA instantly. So I try and move the car back and guess what, no movement. The trans got rebuilt 3 months ago and I hear it can be the hose...GAY GAY GAY. If the hose blew out all my fluid. I spent $1500 for nothing lol....If not then I just would get new lines and refill it and hopefully it moves. Shame that a damn hose from the radiator can cause so much damn damage. If this doesn't go well, I'm not investing in it again and will be car less. Can't get the GTO i wanted because guess what I'm paying rent now lol. Can someone give me a chair and a rope lmao.

    Guy.

    It's called a warranty.

You paid that much money without one?

If so, then no pun intended...but you got hosed.

That should be covered. If they put it back together and not you then it falls on them.

They didnt cover it because my radiator was busted, so I towed it to my friends shop, bought a radiator, put everything back how it was and I got to see everything go on. and what trans spot did you go to?

I had my trans "rebuilt" by a local shop and when I got it back the gear ratio was different. I lost about 1K rpm in 5th gear but it was a lot quicker. I had to take it back a few months later when I blew the syncronizer between 1st and 2nd and the guy told me "you must have been beating the hell out of it" I told him I did every chance I got and he told me I couldn't be doing that because the trans couldn't handle it and I told him I'll drive it how ever the hell I want to I have a 1 year warranty and I'll beat the **** out of it up until that one year. He got pissed and went back and got my car and I went to drive off and the check engine light was on so I turned right around took it back there and told them to fix it. They broke a wire going to a sensor so they put butt connectors on it to "fix" it I told them if I ever had a problem with it I would be right back here with it and they would fix it for free. I drove it up until a week before the year warranty was up and sold it.
