sounds like a flex to me. Hard to tell. Pull the inspection cover

Ive read it can be a bad flexplate, rod knock, bad harmonics, maybe exhaust holes and what not just not 200% sure.

Does the oil sparkle?

It can tell you if you may have spun a bearing.

But if I was you, I'd take it back to the shop.

Start the car and let if get to full temp. Then give it a quick rev, on the decel of rpms it should be quite noisy. You could also check with an oil pressure gauge. Once warm..pressure would suck.
