    Okay here it is:

1st choice: Gray 2005 Gtp: Has 95k miles on it. Very good condition. Tinted windows. 1 Year old breaks and tires. Decent Interior. Clean title. I talked the guy down to around $5800.

2nd choice: Black 2004 Gtp: Has 105k miles on it. Excellent condition. Was in an accident on title but only repaired bumpers/hood and a repaint. Exterior is in great condition (new paint). Talked this guy down to $5500.

3nd choice: Gray 2004 Gtp CompG: Has 135k miles on it. Okay condition. Outside has a few dents. Some scratches. Has paddle shifters and HUD unlike the first 2 choices. Also has 2 kenwood subs. Needs new RIMS and Tires. Needs a recharge on the A/C Clean title. $4100

4th choice: Gray 2004 Gtp: Has 124k miles on it. Okay condition. Needs new rear tire sensor. Needs new sunroof motor. Has paddle shifters and HUD. Recently replaced fuel injector and plugs. Talked this guy down to $5200.

So what do you think is the best deal? I am looking to buy one of these in the next week. Thanks!

Yeah the original price of the first was 6900... So I got him down alot. Is that the major difference between the 05s from the 04s?

    Maybe.

Some 05's got the upgraded LIM gasket and some didnt. Really its not even something to determine weather or not to buy the car.

i'd go with the 1 st one. for the price, you'll end up putting the difference into the other cars to fix them up.

what ever car you think of buying take it to a shop and have it checked out, could be the best 50 to a 100 bucks you ever spent. you could get more off if you can find some small things wrong with it.

if you dont have it checked out, in 3 weeks when stuff stats to fall apart, you will wish you knew more about the car you just paid 6,000 grand for. and now its all yours.

Oh okay. I see. So there really isnt any major differences between a 04 and 05 gtp? Cause my choice is either one or two I suppose.

    Exactly the same.

The Comp-G package makes them different. Upgraded, suspension, brakes, different transmisson, apperance package, rims, etc etc, just small stuff.

Otherwise a GTP is a GTP for 04-05.

Right. Well that is for sure a good decision to pick between the two cars. There is nothing that I can tell wrong with the 2nd choice and it has been taken into the best care I would assume. I mean the driver seat looks like its rarely been sat in...

Truthfully. I would go with the 3rd. Mainly for the fact that its still not that high of mileage and its the cheapest option. The Comp Gs are the rarer of the 04s and usually have the better options, I would want custom wheels anyways so that makes a good selling point if you want to replace them for looks. AC recharge isn't much and saving 1000-1500 would more than cover it. and Scratches and Dents can be repaired, a really good compound/wax/buff job would probably get rid of most of the scratches and then paintless dent repair could probably fix the dents if they really bother you.

Plus with the savings you could do a full service job, so you know everything has been done since you got it.

Overall you would spend the same amount, but have a CompG, fully serviced, recharged AC, custom wheels/tires, paddle shifters and the HUD will spoil you
    Do It!

Just go with the CompG , cheaper than the rest and you'll still have $$ to fix the scratches . CompG is fully loaded

I say 3rd. HUD is awesome, paddle shifters are junk, gonna need to do LIM gasket anyway, so save that money - it's a $6-800 job if you don't do it yourself. I'd also recommend doing the timing chain and tensioner while you do that.... suspension will be getting close to shot at that mileage... they're all done, though. Can sell the amp and subs for spare cash, too if you don't want them.
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.

I talked the 05 gtp from 6900 to 5650... It has paddle shifters and every option available. Along with a new radio new aftermarket speakers and tinted windows..it also only has 95k miles. Can anyone find any problems with this deal? lol

Yeah, because in 5k miles...everything that hasn't been touched is going to turn to sh1t.

    100k is the WBody killer.
