What have you guys found to be a good window tint. I'm looking for one that will last a while without fading to purple, and is fairly resistant to scratches and stuff. I remember the first time I tinted a window. It was a 3 piece sliding rear window of a truck. I did 2 sections and when I did the 3rd i messed it up. I didn't have any tint left, so I went and got some more. It was a different brand. It wasn't long before the one section with the different tint faded to purple and the other 2 stayed pretty black, even to this day, many years later. Anyone experienced in this field? thanks

Go to a licensed tint shop, pay the 220, get the lifetime warranty that comes with it, and call it a day.

Should I ask to see their tint license? I'm going to do that for my grand prix. For my 280z which has a nice flat rear window, I just figured I would to it myself. Where is Llumar available for purchase?

i used these guys off ebay, pre cut tint. its dyed but my back window is still black a year later. they sell the whole car for like 40 bucks. one big piece for the back window, they also sell brow strips.

you can also order any combo of tint % you want, 35% up front, 20% rears. what ever you want.

    i got the 20 % back window and a 5 % brow for about $20 i think.

items in Precision Window Films Automotive Precut Window Tint Kits store on eBay! i also pm'ed them and they are a shop in FL this is the tint they sell and install on their customers cars. they also ship quit fast.

This. I paid $100 to have my Stealth's windows tinted 8 years ago at a professional tint shop and it still looks great to this day.

This. In Iowa you can't have anything on the front. I'm only going to do the rear hatch. It will be easy enough on the Z, I'm going to do it on the cheap. As for the GP, yes, I will take it to a shop and have it done. Don't you worry yourself about that. I did it on a 93 Accord I just sold, and would not want to do it again, except for the easy flat rear Z window.
