hello I have a 07 gp no supercharger and it has a 3.8l engine
i was hoping someone could give me some advice? my car has been starting and then stalling before it should idle?
sometimes it tries to idle but if I put my foot on the gas a little it will fire up perfect? it has been doing this for 6 months and just having
a baby I a putting off the garage as long as i can. The car also shutters at 60 km's so I have to give it more gas pedal to smoothen out.
the is no check engine light on? any help would be great! thanks

stalling at first start up could be a very very dirty throttle body and maf sensor.

I would take those off and clean them with the correct cleaners.

I got a 07 GP base as well, mine had the exact same problems. Go to Autozone or your local auto parts store and buy a Throttle Body cleaner and a MAF Sensor Cleaner. Use the MAF Cleaner and spray your MAF and set it aside to dry, then use the Throttle body cleaner to clean the Throttle Body. If you open up the throttle body you will see that it is very badly dirty. Once your done with that put it all back together and take a quick test drive, you will see that you Throttle response will be much much better.

Check this out if you need help

I just like to stress the importance of NOT touching the Maf wires with anything ever, spray them thoroughly and let it dry 100%... No touching anything. I've seen a few people ruin the sensor thinking they could gently wipe off the wires with a soft cloth or something

Just soak it and sit it down.

^^ Yes DO NOT TOUCH THE WIRES IN THE MAF. All i did is spray it and gave it 20-30mins to dry completely, may not even take 15mins but just in case. Also i would not spray inside the TB, i would soak a ragg in the TB cleaner then clean the inside of the TB

Just remove the tb off the plenum, it's only 4 bolts, takes 10 minutes.. and you can clean so much more thoroughly. Seriously, just do it... do it. There are big results as far as responsiveness goes.
