Meh, ZZP makes some great parts and such, but I ask for guidance/advice here before consulting anyone else, never steered me wrong...

First off, Troll definitely... and I'd wonder of the I.P. of the OP isn't quite the same or nearly so of another poster here... Hmmmmm... You can all put it together yourselves.

But back to reality, there are those that when given an answer to a question, will run out and do things foolhardy, without doing any research at all. Then, like most other moron's, look to blame others for the folly! Ex - I want to run a 3.0 pulley but don't want to do anything else and I want it cheap... lolz...

Anyways, there are other forums for this vehicle that had a great production run, this isn't the only source of information out there. That said, I have found the information here well organized, thoughtful, precise and everyone on the board here extremely helpful and forthcoming with their experience and knowledge which is appreciated in the highest regard by me and I'm sure many others.

Personally, I took months putting together a plan for my GTP, researching and reading, everywhere about what I wanted to do. The work I've done has matched my plan and I can say the results have also been exactly what I expected, largely due to information obtained here.

Even thought I do believe the OP is a troll, and I think if you don't have anything NICE to say, then you shouldn't say anything at all. I feel everyone has a right to say what they feel and is why I must dismiss the naysayers here and provide support to those who deserve it!

Lastly, If someone has such a strong opinion about themselves or that of others, they needn't worry about getting banned, they should start their own forum or web page to voice their opinion. The proof then would be in the web traffic that site would generate, in my estimate, not much at all.

Maybe if you waited until I had a hand on that drain pan before you started pulling bolts out at random there wouldn't have been trans fluid all over your floor.

Oh and why was I even at your house in the first place that night? Because I was helping you swap a motor of my own free will.
It sucks that I can't properly defend myself because there's so much I'd like to share.
No mod or admin on here is deleting or changing a thing you or we type. Who has a need to, your posting style and choice of replies/words does a better job painting a picture, than we ever could come up with. None of us care enough about you to bother wanting to warp any truth or ban you.

To answer your retort about you having a hand on that drain pan. The 2 foot by 3 foot drain pan you had under the car with you, should have worked well. I was standing up working on items on top of the motor/trans, you removed the bolts, you had the pan....I was not under the car. How was it that I caused the fluid to come out before you got a hand on the drain pan?

Have you forgotten, you contacted me that day....to get an lower intake manifold for a great idea you had. You wanted to put a different blower onto a 3800. No one else had ever done it. I did say that day that if you wanted a manifold, I would like a hand since you had promised to repay some of the labor and after about a year had not tried once to help me out with anything.

    Nothing is out of context
Where is the truth or lack of it being warped, fill in the detail if I've left something out.
No mod power being used or abused with you. If anything your taunts about me or the rest of the team doing anything is holding us back from infracting/banning you. That way you provide further entertainment to the community. In reality a forum works on posts...and you help keep posts happening.
You always talk big about not being able to respond or defend yourself, yet you never back that up.

Want a little bit of info about me?
    I'm often very sarcastic
    I'm often a dick
I do at times have a temper
I dislike the drawers in my toolbox being slammed because then you have to fight to get back into said drawer (ball bearings are great)
I joke around a lot and some people don't like it.
I know a lot more than I need to about a dying platform
I help a lot of people and when someone is talking about having me do work and wonders my credentials, I openly offer they post on a forum and ask for members honest input. I'd like to see you suggest to someone, they ask a forum openly what they think of you.
That's who I am and that's why people look past the fact that I'm human and have plenty of shortcomings.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

As a vendor, I'm all for people checking with the community to verify claims we make. As someone that's been doing this for a long time I've noticed that the community is cyclical and there are few people with most of the information and everyone else just regurgitates what they heard someone else say. We saw it with people wildly exaggerating the effects of ported manifolds, we saw it with people wildly exaggerating the effects of alcohol injection, limited slip differentials, and the list goes on.

It's worse now than ever because most of the people with the knowledge tend to move on to other cars and that just leaves behind the people with little first hand experience that like to regurgitate what they heard. So you have a lot of people pushing off opinion as gospel and that's when forums can be a lot of trouble. Then you have the mob rule mentality that comes with forums. The HAI vs CAI thread is a great example of that with people on both sides bullying others over their opinions and before you know it, new information gets smothered because people are too afraid they're going to be chastised for it by people that think they know better.

So as someone that's been doing this for awhile my recommendation is to take everything everyone tells you with a grain of salt. ZZP has a vested interest in making money off of you. So do we, so does Intense but like it or not, we have the broadest knowledge over the longest period of time and have seen more setups than just about everyone else.

At the end of the day I think you need to look at people on the forums who are clearly there just sharing information. There's a lot of guys here that will bully and belittle if you disagree with them and others that will respectfully disagree with you. It's the ones that respectfully disagree that you should listen to and the ones that bully and belittle that you should ignore. They're the ones trying to convince themselves and others that they know more than everyone else.

    And that's my take!

Although I don't agree that a vendor knows all because they are a vendor, I do agree that some people on here regurgitate information based on reading it instead of practical application.

I do have a good suggestion for the suggestion area now because of this thread.
