My GTP looks extremely stock on the outside minus a couple small subtle things that will be seen in a couple weeks.... Here's a pic of my car, granted its not purple but you get the idea of a clean car.
Wow amazing response and even a picture to add to it.. Your car is Super nice
I'm going to call around and get the front bumper painted soon, But I'm still thinking of just going for an SD dam for the front bumper.
And I could get the car cleaned up a bit.. I havnt given it a proper wash/wax in a few weeks and its getting dirty.. and nobody likes a dirty car.
On wednesday i'm probably going to go to this junkyard nearby and look for either new center caps and a black or purple license plate filler or w/e
hell I might even find a 40th anniversary GT there and I could snag some roof rails.. I doubt it but anything is a possiblity

I just found a black plate filler on ebay for $20 so i'll just snag that if I can't find one at the junkyard, then ill buy some inlay for the front pontiac symbol, perhaps purple and black.. Or just "reflective purple" baha..
I would get new tips but I paid $80 for the ones I have now.. I'm shur they would look 10x better once they get pulled up a bit and tucked in. and this has nothing to do with exterior but ima get the ubend deleted also and get me 5hp.. Or maybe headers.. not quite shur yet.

On mine I didn't do much to the exterior except for clear corners, debadge rear, tinted tails (turned out pretty bad), gutter guard grills, and tips.

I like to focus more on the performance aspect but that's just me.

    I'd go subtle.

Things I'd consider if it were mine.
Swap out the airbox with a 99-03 box.
Swap the coolant overslow to the fender 99-03 as well.
Tint, but reasonable tint that when tested will pass. I've always had premium film put on and never had it turn colors or get me pulled over. You can tint w/o asking for a pull over. It costs more though.
I like your idea about dark calipers. Hide them, don't show them off. We don't have calipers that are worth drawing attention to.

Me.. I added puddle lights, turn signals in the mirrors. Lots of little things that never get a second glance by anyone that doesn't know about our cars. Those that do...they seem to like most of what I've done.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Do you think I should just keep the reg rims, polish and just take off the center caps and replace them so the ABS is gone?
and ill look into the turn signals in the mirrors

You coudl...all depends on what you like. I'm a fan of factory rims on my cars. that way they don't get as much attention. I'm currently running a set of Buick Lucerne rims and everyone tells me they look great. Reason why? Because the stockers were peeling the chrome off.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
