I'm lookin to buy a new hood in the future on my 1998 daytona gtp, and i was looking for some opinions to which hood i should get. I was thinkin of either getting a sd hood or gtx hood.

Sd hoods are always Sexy, but everyone that buys a hood has that. GTX would also be sweet, not as many people have it.

IMHO GTX hoods have a slightly modified look where as the SD hood screams mods. Personally I like something a little more on the subtle side.

GTX will always win this battle.

the SD is 'meh' at best and literally 75% of the people with an aftermarket hood have it. in fact, buy an F1 hood if you want to look agressive because it is the best hood.

    F1... Ewww

I think the f1 is just about as good looking as the ws6..

Gtx, sd or cowl... Nothing else.

Depends on your motivation and skills. Very doable if you have a plan and the know-how.

^^^ Very custom, but very clean.

To the OP, with a blue Daytona, I would go with the GTX hood, but the SD is always a nice option, really up to you tho
Create a poll if you really want to know how everyone feels between the 2

These hoods are very common. So do what I would do/did. Carbonfiber SD or GTX with scoop stripes.
OverKilled, HAI, Ported Throttle body, Ported intake, ZZP DP, Magnaflow, BMR ta's, GMPP STB's, CCS springs, tinted tailights, roof rails, TEP cool'r, G8 hood. Glass Gearbox.

^^^Ive also had both. I like both hoods =]

-Maybe the reason GTX 'always wins this battle' is cuz it's a not so flashy stock hood.
