Well I found a needle in a haystack! As some of you may know, I was looking for a grand prix GTX and I found one, a good one at that. I just picked up a 1998 GTX with only 42000 miles. The car needs a good bath but other than a new rear view mirror the car is perfect. The way I found this car is a crazy story. I searched on GOOGLE to find a picture of a red GTX that was what I was looking for to save as a screen saver for my laptop. When I found one it took me to someone’s website. After looking at the website I was able to uncover a phone number for the person. I called them out of the blue and I left a message. Well when they called me back they had sold the car 3 years ago. Good news is they sold it to a friend of theirs. They called him and he was willing to sell it for 8k. After two weeks of talking to the guy I finally picked it up for $7700 today. Here are some pictures. I will be taking off the windshield banner, door edge protectors, mud guards, black pin stripe, front grand prix sticker, and changing the exhaust tips. More pictures to come once I can get it a bath and a good detail.

i almost have to laugh at this.

i mean i would do the same thing, but those were all added options that cost the original owner extra.
i just think thats a lil funny.

good story attached to a great car!

I would rather lose by a mile because I built my own car, than lose by an inch, because someone else built it for me. Your car is your story, so don't let someone else write the book.

Alot of money yes but a car with that many miles and a special edition like it is.... I'd be inclined to do the same. I do love the GTX's. Please tint the windows though...
