My quest to find a more uncommon car is still going on. I'm having a difficult time trying to find something with as much power as a GTP, that an average person would drive.

Now to the questions. What is as fast, or faster then a GTP?
-Try to keep V8s out of the picture (Kinda unfair...but with slight mods, a gtp will beat most v8 DDs)
-Nothing stupidly expensive like a Corvette or cobra
-Something for the average Joe that is not as common as the The GP
-late 1990s into the 2000s for the year
1997 Grand prix GT Black Coupe- The beater
1998 Grand prix GT Black coupe- Top swapped, XP cam
2008 Grand prix Midnight blue- The slow but nice car
1999 Chevrolet Silverado red ext. Cab

TRD offered a supercharger kit for 1997 through to 2000 V6 models raising power to 247 horsepower (184 kW) and 242 pound-feet (328 N·m) of torque. 1996–2001 Toyota Camry
    Does that count?

    Also Dodge Intrepid R/T
A new, top-of-the-line R/T model was added in 2000, the centerpiece of which was a redesigned version of the 3.5 L V6, now producing 242 hp (180 kW) and 234 hp (174 kW) for the ES. Or Chrysler 300M and Chrysler Concorde

I had a 3.5L New Yorker that screamed, a turbo or supercharger would have easily made it as quick as a GTP.

A newer 300....well the V6 model anyway. The brand new ones are making 293hp and around 263tq but I am not sure about the 08's. I think those ones might be closer.
