Thread: Stereo will not shut off

Hey has anyone had problems with their stereo not shutting off. I have a 05 grand prix gt. I just installed an aftermarket stereo in it, and it worked great for a week now the stereo doesn't shut off when I pull the key out of the ignition. I was hoping some one could help me out.

Do you have your power wire hooked up to a switched ignition? IIRC the 04+ GP's dont have a switched ignition wire in the stereo wiring, you have to get the switched from a fuse.
