I have a 96 gtp. I was wondering if it was possible to put in a auto dimming mirror out of a 97-03 gtp. I don't thing grand prix had this option till 97 correct me if I'm wrong. Would this be hard to do. What all would I need to do to make it work properly. Thanks for the help.

All you need is a power and a ground..pretty simple install really. Ground it wherever you feel like and run a power wire to the fuse box. Make sure to use a source that's only hot during run/acc or whatever. Using a source that's hot at all times will result in the mirror never turning off.

Alright so I found a mirror out of a 92 olds 98 regency elite. But there is five wires. Two of them plug in to one place and the other three right next to them. All behind the mirror. The two wires that are together are dark red and a brown. The three wires together are black, dark green, and a dark red with black strip. Any idea as to what wire does what and were I wire them in at. Thanks for the help.

You really don't even need to hook it up. Your mirror just won't undim when you put it in reverse
