knowing im most likely going to get a bias opinion, id figure id ask anyway..

right now im currently driving a 93 lexus ls400 in good cond. with 129k, V8

i found this at a local dealer that might be willing to let it go for my car plus a few hundred..

Used 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP For Sale in St Charles IL | 2G2WR524741131454

do you think its worth it even with all the extra mile the gtp comes with?

im really looking to upgrade on mpg (just got 243miles on a full tank with the lexus ) ), style, and just a newer car (generally cheaper to repair in my experience since ive owned 3 different cars none newer than a 94)

i love the grand prix but a little worried on the reliability of it now at 179k.. and knowing ls400's, ive heard stories upon stories of these lasting past 250k

I would check it out. Just make sure you get a good repair/maint history. If everything is up to spec and wear parts replaced go fot it. But if you buy it and need say, new shocks, thats a $1000. New bearings, another grand. And then the price becomes $7000, and for that you could get a newer, lower mileage GP. I bet when you go there they don't have much of a history on it. If that is the case, run.
