    Hey guys/girls.

Did a quick search first, came up with nothing.

1997 GrandPrix GT 4 door with sunroof. My question is regarding the courtesy lights in front of the sunroof. When you open the drivers/passenger door, all other courtesy lights come on (door, under dash), but the 2 map lights/interior lights do not. Its dark as all hell in the car without them on. Are they supposed to come on when you open the door? They work when you manually turn them on. I know they turn on when you open the door my 98 GP GT 2 door, but it is sunroof-less, and has a slightly different overhead console IIRC.

    Thanks,

    Jay

Any updates?/Suggestions? It is kind of annoying not being able to see....so you manually turn the light on, and forget to turn it off.....lol

There's a wire that should feed them or ground them out. I think they get grounded, although I am not postive. I'd check the wire at the overhead consol to see if they are getting the right input from the bcm.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
