I recently found my old aeroforce scan gauges in my Dads shed. My uncle hooked them up in his truck and while they both worked fine..only one lit up. When I got home I realized one of the wires was unplugged. I am HOPING that was the problem.

As a complete moron when it comes to wiring, my question is..how do I test them in the GTP? I am pretty sure the red wire goes to the 12v but I have no clue where that is. What are the green and white for?

Now that I feel like a complete dumbass, can someone help..lol?!?

red is any switched 12v. so for instance, my red wire is tapped into my power window fuse i believe with an "add-a-fuse". the green and white are unused unless you have other gauges to expand the parameters of the aeroforce. like oil pressure and stuff that is not read by the aeroforce alone. so just plug in the obd2 and then tap the red to something that would be on when the car is

You may have to remove/change a jumper in the back as well regarding 12v power in obd2 versus another source.

Here is the user manual for GM vehicles:

OK just to prove my lack of knowledge, where would I find something to tap the wire into? Like I said I just want to test them quick before I put them up for sale.
