    bought from craigslist. didnt do my research beforehand. i have a 97 gt trying to do a top swap. will this motor work? if not will any of the parts work?

    Technically you could make the blower work with a custom LIM.

    what is a tvs? im looking for performance options for low prices. ive got everything about 230-245hp at the crank w/o the supercharger so my overall goal is around 300hp i figured a top swap was the easiest and most cost effective method for doing this. any other ideas?

    you're probably not making that. top swap is worth 250 260 chp.

    300 will require more effort.

    That's a Series I motor. None of the parts are not interchangeable with your current Series II motor as the only thing it really shares with the S2 is that it's 3.8L of displacement.

    As for the TVS, it's more costly than most other options and was only done once. Take a look in the for sale area for a top swap kit. They can usually be found pretty low cost.
