    i've never heard a busted tranny make noise like that at idle?

    mine whirred for a while before i just sold the car. it did it anytime the car was in motion. never broke, though.

    Not really. Im just not financially stable enough to fix it, I just spent $1800 on a engine swap about 2 months ago

    Oh lawd... I certainly hear ya on that one. Trans can be quite expensive especially after this damn gp nickles and dimes ya.

    But some trans shops do offer payment plans and what not. I'm sure you'll find the right thing in the end
