Can anyone recommend me a GOOD headlight HID projectors?? I'm ready to upgrade to projectors (since my stock lights really, reaaaallllllyyyyy suck) but I don't want to order from ebay because I've seen that they are not as bright as I expect/want. I've seen few cars on the road with very good bright light (not stock, not bmw, luxury car) and I wonder where they get theirs from, I want to ask them but they are going fast on the freeway lol if I try to stop them to ask about it I may get shot So, have anyone order projectors from ebay? are they as bright as you expected it? can you recommend a good HID projectors? Thank you!

retrofit is the only way to go if you want good light output. I bought projectors off ebay and its decent, but its no where near what retrofits have to offer.

I went to that website and it looks like they don't offer the whole headlight assembly.... right? just the projectors and you have to do your own work to make the projector fit in your headlight assembly? when I did a search for pontiac grand prix, nothing shows up

    Try here...
    http://www.theretrofitsource.com/index.php

    I
F and when I finally make the jump to real Functioning headlights for my GTP I will get it from them... But do some research, there are lots of options out there, both ends of the $ spectrum.

    http://www.ultimatehidkits.com/
    H
aven't used them but the product looks good.

Those are for the HID's, housings are another matter... that will be to taste.

you are correct. all in all it isn't that bad, but it is something you'll have to do on your own.

Ok guys, this is what I've been thinking: I really care more about the light output more than what the headlight assembly look like. So may be I just buy the whole headlight assembly with projectors from ebay and then buy HID bulbs somewhere else, bulbs that will give me more output light to see better on the road? like the HID's from ultimatehidkits.com?

Thats what i did, and the light from the HID's is scattered, my fogs go farther than my low beam HID projectors. Retrofit is the best route for you to go if you want best light output.

I ran them for about a year with no problems. It is super bright for other drivers though.

Ok all in all I think I've got it all worked out but probably won't do the headlights/projectors till spring. I recently bought some cheap headlights replacements and they suck just like the stocks but are at least bright and clear. For $70 both sides they'll provide a decent housing for the projectors that I will order. I've also located some carbon fiber fabric that I'm going to put inside the housing to give a nice finish look to the bi-zenon projectors and ccfl halos. Not sure but might add a small led strip on bottom of housing connected to turn signal, halos on with dogs... Lol... I've totalled costs and it'll be around $300+ the original housing and a few small incidentals. Around the same price as those spyders and others with the hid upgrades. Plus I'll get exactly what I want and the look I want as well. Anyways... Just thought I'd share my thoughts...

Man, I contacted the guys at retrofit and they offered me the parts I need for 350.00 and since I don't know how to install projectors on a stock headlight assembly they said their guys can do the job for additional 350... thats 700 bucks! mmmm..... I guess I just have to order the one from ebay, at least they will give me better light than the ones I have right now (I hope)
