I had IMPN8EZ on my Impala in Virginia. Having fun with the name I think is better than the straight name. I see lots of PONY type plates on Mustangs, and that's cool. My friend with a Mach 1 has MACHPNY. Another friend had HRSPLYN on his Mustang.

I couldn't get IMPN8EZ in Georgia. Don't know if it was taken or the state wouldn't allow it. So I got a play on my last name instead.

Just my opinion. It's your money.
And I agree... But keep in mind this is an unbadged park avenue.

I've had the same old school Ohio plate on my cars since like 2003, it was time for a change. I figure I'm dropping all other kinds of dough on the thing, what's 25 mere dollars for a little personalization?

Well.. what it does is make the plate easy to memorize if you do something stupid, keep that in mind.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

True, but I memorize plates all day at work. Wouldn't take long.

I just wanted something that didn't look too much like vanity plates. There are way more dumb ones out there than good ones, I've always been like "check out this douches plates..." I feel like mine will be hard for people to say that about.

But yes bill, stupid sh*t IS my forte.

In Virginia it's $10 for a vanity plate, so unless you're paranoid or just couldn't afford it, you got vanity plates. We had them at one time on 4 cars. Only my wife's motorcycle didn't have it. Now, in Georgia it's $60 the first year, and then I think $35 every year afterward. So I've only got one right now. Might get one more next year.

When I moved to Georgia earlier this year, it was the first time since some time in the 80s that there isn't a license plate in Virginia with my last name. My parents had it for the longest time, but when my dad gave up his driver's license and my parents dropped to one car, they dropped the last name plate.

I was wondering about future renewals... I figured it just cost for the tags from here on out. I'll find out next year I guess

Almost finished replacing the brake lines. All I have left to do tomorrow is get 2 more fittings and make up 1 more line and put them on the car, then bleed the brakes. already got the front passenger line on.

Amen. Reason why I stuck w/ random plate..plus I rather not have everybody memorize my car vanity tag and be able to point car out because of it.
