I'm quickly learning that the V8 doesn't like to sit and run much. Much happier out on the road.
It's just been so cold, I hate to not let it warm up for a few before I leave.

Let it warmup for a few. It's the temperature change that's giving you the worse gas mileage. I do 100% city, short trips. I get very different gas mileage in the summer vs winter. I can pull off 19 mpg city in the summer, but only 13-14 in the winter. Nothing but temperature and a little warmup time changes in the winter.

I let it run, try to for at least 5 while I brush teeth and such.
Oh well....winter doesn't last that long... lol

I hate the cold tho. Brrrrrrrr. -21 with the windchill. -2 real temp. It's not supposed to get above 0 real temp here until late afternoon tomorrow.

Scott refuses to check actual from what I think he's said. His DIC says something like 15-16 on a good day. I only know because I joke around with him that mine is up in the 23-24 range usually.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

got my alignment re done for like the 5 th time today. warranty's rule. so far it seems much better then before.

also helped a friend install a new circulation pump on his furnace. what fun that was. of course every valve we touched either failed to turn off or leaked when open lol did some of that turn it back in a bit and it would stop leaking. had to play with 2 valves.

the fun one was the water supply it never shut off 100% and then the drain line valve refused to seal when off. old crap i tell ya.

bill it hit 9 mpg the other day, but it was cold and i was having some fun lol then again, it did rise to 20 for a while then i hit the local BS again and back to 14 lol

Got my replacement alarm in the mail today and ordered injectors, hoping to get rid of my damned negative LTFTs. If the injectors don't fix it, I guess my FPR is up on the chopping block? I need to check fuel pressure, O'rielly's never has the damned tool in stock to rent though. I hate small towns sometimes.

Noticed my left HID bulb is more yellow than the right side. Not sure whats up with that. Going to give it another month to break in before I start buying Morimoto Ballasts and asking for replacement bulbs.

Looked at it sitting there doing nothing. Taking up driveway space, wish it had a new home.
