Well looks like I need to add tie rod ends to my list and an alignment. This is why I miss my old house, nice two car garage I could pull the car in. At my current residence at my buddys house. I have the road lol.

just jack your car up one wheel at a time, then do the same push pull, when both wheels are in the air they move more vs one wheel up, if its loose you'll feel it. you can also watch the tie rod, you'll see it if moving.
$650
Meh, screw the pro version. I don't need to log a WB and I don't run a dyno shop.
You don't need to tell her
and thanks scotty, this week would have been perfect only if i didn't work stupid hours.
Went ahead and bought it a wheel bearing. I was getting tired of hearing the groaning anyway, but my cousin texted me this morning and asked me to drive out to Philly next weekend, hang out for the weekend then he would just ride back with me, so I figured I wanted to get it done before I made a 5 hour drive.
Going to try to figure out where my brake fluid is going while I am at it. Hopefully it is just a caliper.
Just went to work and back. Then my dad backed into it...
Nope... He's been trying to hit it ever since I got it. Multiple times he's been so close, this time he finally did it.. A nice chip in the rear bumper right next to the indent for the license. He say's he'll fix it, it will never be the same. You think after a $6000 cataract surgery he's be able to see. Is it weird their 19 year old son is a better driver than them?I wish it would have been the front and I would have made him send it in to a shop and re-do the whole thing. My back bumper was absolutely perfect until now.
Yeah, I'll figure it out one way or another. I was going from having to top off the reservoir ever few weeks, to where I topped it off Monday evening, and the light came on again this morning on the way to work. I don't think it is going to last much longer.
Hoping I can just get it figured out then get my mom to pick up the caliper for me so I don't have to put the car back together, just to go get the part and take it apart again.
I really need to get my Stealth back on the road to have two cars.
i felt my pedal just get soft, like rut-ro, somethings not right. so got home, parked it, then stood on the brakes, the pedal hit the floor with no real effort, the line across the back of the car was rusted to hell and blew out. less then 20 bucks in line and compression fittings and they are back to solid.
id like to just replace the two lines to the back, (master to back) they are rather ugly looking.
Yeah, mine isn't really getting soft. I'm just losing fluid, thats why I am thinking it is a caliper, like a dry rotted seal or something.
While I am looking at it I am going to try to figure out where my damn power steering fluid is going too.
at least i know where all my leaks are coming from, cracked rad tank, check, leaking oil pan, check. lol
LMAO. Yeah, I have some fluid gremlins right now. I can deal with the ps pump occasionally leaking fluid for my trip to Philly, but I figure the brake fluid issue and wheel bearing should take precedent. If I figure out where the ps fluid is going (assuming the rack) then at least I know what else I have to buy.
im rad shopping as we speak lol. found on on ebay for 58 free shipping. best price ive found.
the oil leak....call the epa. its gonna leak for a while.
Scotty, if you feel like it, take the best rockauto or online price into an O'Reilly's or favorite auto parts store. I got them to meet me halfway, which was good enough for me - considering most people charged for freight/returns are that much more difficult. I got a 1" rad that way for like $100, an upgrade from the stock 3/4".
My oil pan gasket is leaking... over time it's managed to lightly coat the oil pan, trans pan, and a bunch of other stuff under the car with oil. It isn't a serious leak... it'll drop one maybe one hash mark over 3,000 miles. So I consider it a nuisance, not a menace.
i loose almost a quart over 3,000 miles.
