You think that's over due? I've had my car for 3 years and 54K .. I still haven't put on teh fuel filter I had waiting before I bought the car.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Going to put this on after work, still needs some polishing and wax, but not bad considering I did it in a garage with color match spray paint. Took a couple days but worth it I think.

Once it was dry, I took it out and its actually pretty close. Just have to wait until I can wax/polish and mount it to know for sure. If its close at all I'll be happy. I just hate the thought of driving down the road with the cover being a different silver. Its an OCD thing when I see another car with different shaded body panels because the owner wouldn't match the paint.

When I got the car the PO said he bought the car from TX with ~65K on it. I bought at 160K. The suspension was shot, interior was filthy and beaten, engine leaking from every orifice possible, but the body was mint.

I pulled the airbox open to see how the filter was doing. It said "Geno 64XXX" and there was a date, right before the PO had bought it. If they never changed the air filter. What's that say about the fuel filter?

It really does need to warm up. I want to be able to wash and wax. Audi needs a good waxing.
