Tell me about it. I get tired of having to make such a effort getting the car jacked up by jacking it up from the side enough then getting a jack underneath the subframe. So much work for a simple task.

Red is original opening, green is new opening. Still will get cold air, as I did not mess with the part on the right, so it's still up against the frame. I later drilled some holes in the bottom part, like the one you can see near the right side. That one was there from the factory, I added more to make sure no water could stay in there.

Right away when I started it up, I could hear the IAC valve noise quite a bit more(vacuum noise). I'll have to give it some gas on the road and see how much of a difference I notice.
I bought a 2009 Kawasaki Ninja 250r to take some of the commuting load off my 97 GTP with 174,000 miles.
I'm watching horsepower and got to watch how they make comp cams it was really interesting!
Got a question, I'm on the highway cruising at 80 or so and just randomly the rpm's will jerk real quick and quite hard but not too hard. And it will jerk about 5 times or more unless I let off pedal and slow down then I'll speed back up and it will be fine for a while then it will just randomly do it again, no service lights, just weird actions.

not to dound like a dick, but maybe make a thread about your issue? this thread isnt for problem solving trans issues
Your headlight isn't installed correctly, you probably have some bounce. The plastic clip on the left side (still in the green section) need to be over that metal tab, not in front of it.

The 04's are nice but nearly nice as the 05-06 the only thing great about the 04 is the fact that the pcm offers lean cruise which helps a ton with that pig of a car. I had a 04 gto for all of 2 weeks until the dealership scammed me
