Re: What did you do to your Car today?
I'd use trans fluid over diesel fuel but the point is to clean the inside of the motor up a bit before you change the oil.
Re: What did you do to your Car today?
Jenny? nothing. just used her for a tool holder.
probably will tinker with the sound system tomorrow and start cleaning out the garage to begin the brake line project.
the truck though..
finally readjusted the rear bumper, attempted to pop the dent on the bed out but the dent won... for now.... also did a tire rotation on the right side (because of one cupped tire), new wipers and washer fluid.
need to find out why its slowly eating powersteering fluid, with a newish rack and pinion :(
Re: What did you do to your Car today?
Brought some cheap Microfiber clean cloths for the car and cleaned the windows on m SUV. Very clean, but when fogged at night i can see the streaks. Will research some good cleaning solutions, thinking about rain x

Stoners Invisible Glass....keep a microfiber in your door panel and when you notice the streaks hit em with the dry micro.....try to do it when you are not driving!
Re: What did you do to your Car today?
I just got my idler pulley changed that locked up when I was picking up my son from boy scouts.
Re: What did you do to your Car today?
To get a ZZP downpipe for it or to not....that is the question.
Re: What did you do to your Car today?
Re: What did you do to your Car today?
But but but but....those are expensive. I found a used downpipe with 8k miles for $70. It's a 2.5".

You'll have to get the code tuned out for not having a cat.
Re: What did you do to your Car today?
If I'd do it, I'd probably just get the 02 Emulator instead.

Yes! Stoners is amazing.
I use it to clean windows and then apply the rain-x wax and use rain-x washer fluid and I love the combo.

how hard is it to get the code tuned out? just bring it to the dealership and they can tune it out or how does that work? that is a concern with me, cause i want to put in a bigger exhaust because if i do that i'm sure my emissions control will start throwing codes out and then the car won't run quite right.

Re: What did you do to your Car today?
Also, with the stoners, I find that the windows stay cleaner longer. Which is nice in the winter when its to cold to wash the glass.
But it could also be because I'm the only one that ever is in the car and I don't touch windows...but they seem to not get fogged up or anything near as bad as when I was using other types of cleaner.
