Naw this is local one of my friends crashed his car a few nights ago. Is it one in de I should be looking at? Lol
Lol. Yup just found it. Seems repairable but it would take some work.
Paid the mother****er off yesterday. Now time for good all seasons on the Motegis, rear calipers, and drive it till the wheels fall off. Oh and need new lugs.
Filed up with NON-ETHANOL 93 gas. $3.85 / gallon.
Every car loves non ethanol better. You can thank the government for shoving that sh!t down our throats.
I drive a fairly regular number of miles each week. Lately with the winter blend I have been getting a consistent 24 mpg. ( 75 % hwy )
I will check it again for the next few fill ups.
Fixed my rear knock sensor wire that had been cut, what a PITA that was.
showing kr now?
installed the replacement painted supercharger yesterday, looks good and no chattering noise. Does have a little belt squealing/chirping noise now for some reason. D*** photbucket not working.
Thats about what I get it seems. The initial warmup running piggy rich brings the average down a lot. Purely highway I get like 32mpg. City/spirited drive I get like 22. I reset the DIC everyfill up and get ~24.1 in the winter and ~26-28 in the summer. Granted that is based off the DIC for what it's worth.
Oh and thinking a good 12" sub would be suitable now too.
Pulled the headlights out so I can use the headlight kit i bought to try and clean them up till I can buy new. The GP looks funny as heck and tried to eat a screw but I got it back. Replaced the license plate light, wish I could find a colored one and changed out the blinker lights.
I also found a phillips screwdriver (not mine lol) next to the headlight, so another tool to add to the toolbox.
Always nice finding tools.
Replaced the rotors, pads and the wipres blades on my brothers 03. Also installed a set of spacers for the rear wheels since the bonnieville GXP wheels were rubbing on the BMR trailing arms.
Change the plugs and wires on my GTP man did it need them. Surprised it would even run. Also did new wipers on my wife's 40th anniversary coupe. Next up coolant elbows and A/C delete.
