sounds like your coolant system needs flushed or bled, i have 180 and mine was warm in about 10 minutes
Yup after 10 minutes with my 180* the heat is nice and hot, need to backflush your heater core.
So you think is the coolant and the TB then?
not an engine guy here, but why would TB cause overheating issue?
Normally I get that too. But today it is -5 degrees. First time it has happened to me. Tstat didn't open for a while. Maybe I need a new one.Quote:

hey sd the water pump failing can be an issue with our cars, i would try a flush of the system first

Nonesense you can go limo tint just don't get pulled over :) I have yet to be bothered about it and I've been pulled over a few times in the last few years.
