Actually its on the list of the greatest idea considering. It sucks for performance, that I will give you. But the idea was for a more linear application of air-fuel mix based on throttle to improve gas mileage across all car platforms. Even if you floor it the computer will slowly open the throttle to allow for a smooth pull and makes it easier on your cars parts and less important to have traction control. It will still pull as hard as it can while staying efficient and not breaking the tires loose.

Now if you DO get it tuned properly and remove the majority of the torque management functions it will allow for snappy throttle response and give you most of that old power feel, but it's still not fun for a performance car.

Going to check out a 04 gtp sc tomorrow. Owner only wants 500 and said it won't run anymore. Talked to him on phone and it sounds like a simple bad starter or fuel pump

The weather has been great here. Still driving this car around town. Without snow or salt on the road I don't see the harm. I even got a compliment from some older man today.

Its in Wilmington about 35 minuted from base. I'll let y'all know how it is. He said he hasn't changed oil.since it wouldn't start so I'm gonna drain it and see how the oil looks. I'm also bringing a Volta meter to check for power at starter. The guy seems to think that its just bit the dust since its got 190xxx miles. Hopefully when I look at it it'll just be an easy cheap fix then I can use it as my learn on motor

I had the same problem. But mine was also leaking in two places on the sunroof...and when it rained I had a pool on my passenger side

The yellowish spot on the window is where the deforst was broken from removing tint years ago. I believe the heat cycle from the defrost caused the window in that spot to become brittle. It was warm when I left for work yesterday and it started to rain. The window was warm and the rain was cold and I think that contrast between cold and hot caused that spot in the window to finally let go. Happened when I was in work. The only thing holding the glass in the car is the tint I think. It is getting replaced Wednesday at the cost of my $100 deductible. For now it is parked in my parents garage.

I have wondered when this was going to happen. It just so happened on a day when it rained all day. It's all good now since it is parked in the garage. I will imagine that the window will fall into the back seat before Wednesday. There is a large crack all the way around the window.
